Elks Lodge 100th AnniversaryWe had six major events during our 100th Anniversary Year: the Open House and Car Show, Members' Night, the Grillo Dinner, Hot August Nights, the Ladies' Luncheon and the State President's Dinner. While all of the events were very successful, the most popular one was Members' Night which included a great meal and drinks at 1908 prices with entertainment by our Elks Band. The Grillo Dinner was an elegant affair, and the speech by Jim Grillo was very entertaining. The best part of the Hot August Nights was the spaghetti feed with music, again, by our Elks Band. The Ladies' Luncheon was attended by over 200 persons and featured two fashion shows - Now and Then (1908). Our last event was a dinner honoring our State President and his wife. All of these events were made possible by the financial support of our members and the hard work of many people. We all worked together to make this happen, and we all enjoyed these events very much. Congratulations on your hard work and a successful 100th Anniversary Year.
