About the Antlers: The Antlers is an organization formed by the San Mateo Elks Lodge to offer youth activities, leadership skills, community service and general life development. Open to members and non-members, the Antlers have access to the Lodge facilities with programs including tennis, bowling, swimming, handball and more. The Antlers meet regularly to participate in supporting the community through volunteer work and community development. One of the key components to this program is a speakers series where the Antlers have the opportunity to hear from entrepreneurs, inventors, politicians and to meet with community leaders and business people to understand their paths to success and what inspires them to do what they do.

Who can join: Boys & Girls age 10 to 20 (open to members & non-members)
Cost: $60 annual fee

Friday, May 18th:
Tennis serve clinic at 6:15pm and Exhibition at 7pm
 
Saturday, May 19th:
Handball session from 4:45pm to 6pm
 
Monday, May 21st:
Initiation rehearsal 7:00pm to 7:45pm
 
Wednesday, May 30th:
Guest Speaker is Dr. Patrick Ryan of Google. Dr. Ryan is Policy Counsel, Open Internet for Google, where he supports the policy and regulatory efforts for Google’s global products and will talk to us about a lot of the exciting work in which he is engaged from traveling around the world to meet with foreign leaders about Internet standards to negotiating with the United Nations on policy. Speech is from 5:30pm to 6:30pm followed by optional dinner.
 
Saturday, June 2nd:
Tennis Clinic 1:30pm to 4:30pm
 
Wednesday, June 20th:
Guest Speaker is Sean Burns, former Santa Clara University Tennis Coach and current VP of ServiceSource. Speech is from 5:30pm to 6:30pm followed by optional dinner.
